Welcome to my online fundraising page!

Hi, I'm Mira and I'm shaving my head! This is my second time shaving. I did it in 2016 when I was in grade two and I'm doing it again this year. I'm 10 years old and I'm the middle kid in my family. I have an older sister name Adia and a younger brother named Kane who are both super supportive of me shaving. My dad was diagnosed with leukemia when he was 22 and again when he was 25. Now he works for yacc with stands for young adult cancer canada and is as healthy as ever! My mom is a teacher at PWC. At home I have two cats named Harley and Scratch. Scratch definitely has enough fur to make a wig but he would NOT want to be bald!

Two years ago when I shaved some people made fun of me because I was girl who was bald. To me a girl being bald shows courage and bravery. I told one of my friends that story and she said "When you shaved your head you got made fun of so why are you shaving again?" and I told her "I have to admit I didn't like being made fun of but I new they were wrong." Also, when I  shaved I knew it helped a lot of people. Plus, it made showers and sports way easier. Please help me reach my goal. Thanks for your consideration and support!

Lots of Love and Thanks from Mira Eaton!

AND for the moment Kane has decided not to Shave at school, we will keep you posted. Thanks for all your support.
